Mississippi-Alabama-Florida

We've been listening to a lot of NPR podcasts as sometimes you just can't listen to the same songs one more time. The Story has definitely been a lifesaver and we've learned a lot. One of the stories told a few weeks ago was about a woman and her maid from her childhood in Jackson, Mississippi. They talked about their relationship and also about a book that was recently released called The Help. The book sound really intriguing so for today's drive, we thought we would splurge and purchase the book through iTunes. As it turns out, we're idiots and had the book from Sarah's mom the whole trip. Ugh.

The book is extremely awesome though and we very strongly suggest reading it. Or "borrowing" it from us as we now have two copies on Halley's iPod. Sarah's iPod, we are very sad to say, has passed on. Just one of the minor bumps in our journey.

And why are we boring you with this? Because all we did this day was listen to the book and stop at Love's Travel Shops (AMAZING) for decks of cards and Subway.

The dirtiest truck we've ever seen. There was another guy taking a picture of it as well.

Mississippi.

Alabama.
