Madison, Wisconsin

We got an early start on the drive from Illinois to Wisconsin and stopped by this beauty on the way out of town. What is it exactly? A replica of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. In front of a Niles, Illinois YMCA. Acting as a water tower.

Sarah can't believe we're here! No need to travel to Italy now.

Halley tries to hold up the tower because, well, that's what you do.
We got to Wisconsin a lot earlier than we thought we would and decided to take in the sights of Madison, which included the Mustard Museum.

A mustard pass is when people pass a container of mustard, much like a baton.

Lahyme!

Hilarious, no?

Walls of mustard.
A trip to Monroe Street for some window shopping proved fun...

Reward for anyone who can tell us what exactly this means.
We drove by the capital building (three times because Halley kept missing it), took in the Bodies Exhibit at a local mall, and stopped by a store to get some real Wisconsin cheeses. Yum!

  1. you should give the reward to google, but i'm 97% sure they're referring to "Uglies" swimwear, since i'm pretty sure those are sandals in the window, and the other sign says "Tanning Bed"...i should stop watching CSI
