Minneapolis, Minnesota

Guess what we did first in Minnesota? MALL OF AMERICA!

We had to ride the Ferris wheel.

Mirror maze! We had to wear plastic gloves as to not smudge the mirrors. It took as about 15 minutes to find our ways out but thanks to Sarah's excellent navigation skills we conquered the maze and have stickers to prove it.

After doing laps around the mall, we needed some fresh air so we took a drive to see the spoon and cherry sculpture. While we were there, a group of teen girls approached Halley and asked if she was a professional photographer. Far from it, Halley stammered, "No..." They asked if she would take senior portraits and how much would she charge but finally left us alone when they realized we're from the east coast and not Minnesota. Awkward.

A rainbow! And you can also see that water is coming out of the cherry's stem.
Before the teens left, they encouraged us to visit the Largest Ball of Twine in Darwin, Minnesota. This had originally been on our list of things to do but somehow got lost along the way. After a quick call to Emma for an address and phone number (THANKS EMM), we were on our way to Darwin.

Darwin, population 276.

We had our own private tour of the museum and ball of twine itself thanks to an incredibly nice woman who came to open just for us!
