Disneyland

After going to bed very late (*cough* 10pm *cough*) we slept in later than we had anticipated. Ashley kindly took some photos of us sleeping. They will not be posted. Malorie had already left for work but Ashley had a plan: we would visit Malorie before we hit the road. A few hours later we were actually in the car and Halley rode in the backseat for the first time. Pretty comfy!

Ashley and Malorie have been on a journey of their own and were more than happy to send us on our way with plenty of suggestions for our upcoming stops. Even though it was quite windy, we posed outside Malorie's place of business for a few beautiful photos.

We can't wait to see Ashley and Malorie again when they're back on the east coast!

Do you know what's less than an hour from LA? DISNEYLAND!! We got to the park around 2pm. There was not a long line for parking in the Toy Story lot but of course we got stuck with the only attendant that was on the phone. Being the patient, kind people that we are, we didn't get all huffy when he apologized and said he would be another moment. Our reward for such patience? Free parking!

In Tomorrowland we played virtual checkers. Sarah won. Big time.

Our tea cup that we rode in 3 of 5 times. You need to ride the teacups at least five times so you can perfect your turning technique.

It's a Small World After All when we got into line.

All of the sudden all of the lights in the park when on and apparently tonight was the first night It's a Small World was lit. You could hear everyone ooing and ahing all over the park.

So pretty!

It's a Small World was decorated in holiday garb. Craziness. We can't imagine how long it took them to change everything.

In the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Room!

Not only did Halley not like this ride, we both got soaked and spent the rest of the night with very wet bottoms. Halley's was wetter. There are comparison pictures but again, they will not be posted.

Position number one for the second time around on It's a Small World.

New ears and Sleeping Beauty's castle.

Sarah's mom bought us Halloween ears that we've been wearing on our journey out here. We purchased traditional ears here to go with a traditional Thanksgiving theme and we plan on purchasing Christmas ears when we go to Disney World.

Yay ginormous Christmas tree!
