Seattle, Washington

We have developed a fantastically efficient system of packing the car. By we, of course, I mean Sarah. We kind of get into a zone and just get it done. Usually the packing goes uninterrupted and we out of the parking space in under five minutes. We were in the middle of this routine on our way out of Vancouver when a woman came out from the van parked behind us.

"Are you from New York?"

(Glancing at the bright orange New York license plate on Lady) "Yes."

We then had a fifteen minute conversation with this woman about what exactly we were doing. She had some great suggestions of what we should do while on the west coast and encouraged us to check out The Real Canadian Superstore. She explained that while America has a large selection of brands, they're all kind of the same. She encouraged us to buy some chips. And buy chips we did: hot dog with relish and mustard flavored. I kid you not.

First sighting of the Space Needle!
