Seattle, Washington

At long last, we finally did some sightseeing in Seattle!

First stop: The Troll Under the Bridge

It's the troll's 20th birthday. Hence the party hat.
Next: Beth's Cafe

The sign pretty much says it all.
Then: Archie McPhee's

Many holiday gifts were purchased here.
Finally: Space Needle

Dinner in the rotating restaurant.

As it was just after Halloween there was still a carved pumpkin sitting outside with a skeleton holding the Space Needle.

Hi Uncle Bob and Uncle Jerry!
The next day we headed to Pike Place Market to see what we could see. We decided that Pike Place is very much like Eastern Market in DC but on bigger, on fish steroids, and open seven days a week.

Peppers.

Apparently this little guy was alive.

Crabs!

We paid a grand total of one dollar in quarters to see everything. Worth it.

First Starbucks

Tomorrow's travels take us into Portland, Oregon.

  1. Phew! For a minute there I thought you weren't going to go to the original Starbucks! Sarah has to see that for her coffee shop!
