South San Francisco, California

As mentioned in the previous post, we had a very long day of driving. We were expecting to reach San Francisco by 6pm at the absolute latest and instead rolled in around 9pm. We were driving around looking for our hotel for several minutes and getting very impatient with one another when we found ourselves in a VA hospital parking lot. It turns out that we were in San Francisco (duh) when we really wanted to be in South San Francisco. Although it turns out that South SF is the "Birthplace of Biotechnology."

There are letters shown here that tell all who pass that South San Francisco is The Industrial City.
There were so many things that we wanted to do in San Francisco that we slept in late and did none of them. We figured that we San Francisco it was either go big or stay home so we stayed home. We did a ton of planning for the days following our time IN LA WITH JEN ASHLEY AND MALORIE and caught up on the blog and sending of postcards. We also did some grocery shopping for a healthy dinner and saw Megamind in 3D. Great movie. Just saying.
